The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in its official notification, has declared the official CTET Answer Key 2026 on 12 March 2026. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test for the academic session 2025-26 was conducted in offline mode for Paper I (for the post of Primary Teacher for Classes 1-5) and Paper II (for the post of Upper Primary Teacher for Classes 6-8) on 7th and 8th February 2026 for the candidates who appeared in the test. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test allows the candidates to cross check their answers and calculate their marks using the official answer key provided along with the OMR response sheet. The facility for the candidates to raise objections against the official answer key has also been provided if any candidate finds any discrepancies in the official answer key within the specified period of time and for the specified fee for each question through the official website. After scanning the objections raised by the candidates the official answer key and the results for the qualified candidates will be declared.

Steps to Download CTET Answer Key and OMR Sheet

The candidates can follow the steps given below to access their response sheet and answer key from the official website.

Step 1> Visit the official website of CTET: https://ctet.nic.in/

Step 2> On the home page click on the link related to the answer key of the February exam. Now click on the option that displays the answer key and OMR sheet download.

Step 3> Enter your application number and password or date of birth. The response sheet and answer key will appear on the screen.

Step 4> Download the PDF file and compare it with your responses

Process to Submit Objection Against the Provisional Key

The candidates who find any incorrect answer in the provisional answer key can raise objections within the specified time frame. The examination body has given the facility to submit objections online. The steps are as follows:

Step 1> Open the official website of CTET.

Step 2> Enter the required details to log in then click on the option to challenge the answer key.

Step 3> Select the question to which you want to raise objections then upload the proof or reference to support your claim.

Step 4> Pay the fee to raise objections on the answer key which is ₹1000 per question.
